Serial Search
EzPartsWeb can search through serial numbers assigned to models by manufacturers. Use the following steps to search for models using serial number:
- Click the tab with the
magnifying glass on the Navigation Tree or the 
Search button on the Main Toolbar to open a new Search tab. - Click on the Serial section to perform search using serial numbers.
- Select series from the Series drop-down list.
- Enter serial number into the Serial field. Refer to the Rules for Entering Search String article for the information on how to make up the search query more efficiently.
- Click the Search button or press Enter on the keyboard to start the search process.
- The search results will be displayed on the Models tab in the right section of the window. Click on the model name, to navigate to it in the tree.
